Welcome to... CoachKish.com!
the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri. Kish
started this site to help promote basketball in the area and spread coaching ideas and general
basketball information.
Coach Kish.com has evolved into a forum for spreading coaching information, and has recently
added "Feature Articles," notes from coaching clinics, an area to share "Random Thoughts," and
a place to list informative "Basketball Links."
Chad Kish is currently an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, the Wellness Center Director, and
Sports Information Webmaster at Mineral Area College. He has a BS & MA in Physical Education,
and over 15 years as a professional in the basketball coaching field. MAC is a DI affiliate of the
NJCAA (Junior College) and competes in the MCCAC Conference. Coach Kish has experience at
virtually every level (elementary, jr. high, high school, AAU, junior college, and NCAA DI.) He is a
consummate student of the game of basketball. Kish directs several summer basketball camps,
regularly attends clinics and seminars, and even directed a recruiting service (HoopStars Midwest).

This site will...
... help promote the game of basketball and give back to the basketball community. Coach Kish is
considered a very knowledgeable resource by his peers. He is a "Charter Member" of the PCA
(Positive Coaches Alliance) and has done exhaustive research on the effects of positive motivation on achievement of athletes.
CoachKish.com is always considered a work in progress. This site will routinely be updated with local basketball information, information on college, junior college, and high school basketball games.
